  • Acts of God (e.g., extreme weather conditions).
  • Government actions (e.g., regulations, restrictions, or sanctions).
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or insurrection.
  • Labor strikes or industrial disputes not limited to Website Wannabe’s workforce.
  • Widespread internet outages or failures in telecommunications networks.
  • Utility failures, including power outages.
  • Cyberattacks that impact the availability of services.

 


 

3. Impact on Services

In the event of a Force Majeure:

  1. Service Disruption: Website Wannabe will make reasonable efforts to maintain service continuity but may experience delays, interruptions, or limitations.
  2. Exemption from Liability: Website Wannabe will not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations due to a Force Majeure event.
  3. Notification: Website Wannabe will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably possible, providing updates on the situation and estimated resolution times.

 


 

4. Customer Obligations

During a Force Majeure event:

  1. Mitigation: Customers are encouraged to have a disaster plan in place to be able to take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact of the event on their operations, such as utilizing backups or alternative solutions.
  2. Communication: Customers should notify Website Wannabe of any critical needs or additional support requirements during the event.

 


 

5. Resumption of Services

  1. Efforts to Restore: Website Wannabe will make every reasonable effort to restore affected services as quickly as possible once the Force Majeure event subsides.
  2. Priority Handling: Critical services may be prioritized to minimize customer impact.

 


 

6. Limitation of Liability

Website Wannabe shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disruptions arising from a Force Majeure event. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Loss of revenue or profits.
  • Business interruption.
  • Data loss or corruption.

 


 

7. Termination Due to Extended Force Majeure

If a Force Majeure event persists for more than 2 days, either party may terminate the affected services without penalty. Any unused prepaid fees may be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy.


 

8. Policy Updates

Website Wannabe reserves the right to update this Force Majeure Policy as necessary. Updates will be communicated via email and/or posted on our website.
