Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Website Wannabe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the website or violation of these Terms.

Referral Program

Active Website Wannabe clients receive a personal referral link and code in the client portal. These terms apply whenever you share that link or code.

  • Qualified referrals. A referral qualifies when the business you refer is new to us (not a current customer and not a customer within the past 90 days), reaches us through your link, your code, or by naming you when they contact us, and becomes a paying customer.
  • Rewards. Qualified referrals earn rewards points as described in the client portal. From time to time we also run promotional offers, such as a service credit for each qualified referral. Promotional amounts and dates are shown in the client portal and apply only while the promotion is active.
  • Confirmation window. Rewards are issued as pending when the referred business makes its first payment and are confirmed about 30 days later. If that payment is refunded or the account is cancelled during the window, the pending reward is voided.
  • Attribution. The first referrer credited for a business keeps the credit. Referral links are tracked for 90 days from the first click. If two people refer the same business, we resolve the conflict in good faith based on our records.
  • Credits and points. Service credits apply toward future Website Wannabe services only. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be applied to previously issued invoices, and are forfeited if your account closes. Points follow the rewards catalog in the client portal and expire after 12 months of account inactivity.
  • Disclosure. When you share your link, you must let people know you may earn a reward if they become a customer.
  • Fair play. Self-referrals, fake accounts, spam, advertising on our brand terms, and misleading claims are not allowed. We may withhold or reverse rewards and remove participants for abuse.
  • Taxes. Rewards may be taxable income to you. You are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive.
  • Changes. We may modify, pause, or end the referral program or any promotion at any time. Rewards already confirmed will be honored.

Payments and Refunds

Fees and billing are governed by our Billing and Payment Policy. Refund eligibility, amounts, and timing are governed by our Refund Policy. Refunds are processed once per month, at the beginning of each month, and any time spent on your project as well as the value of deliverables you have already received are deducted from requested refunds.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of PA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
